Staurogyne stolonifera has brownish-colored stalks and gray-green, narrow leaves (irregularly bent). The plant grows relatively fast and in all directions.
It probably originates from the area of Rio Araguaia in East Brazil. So far, this exceptional Staurogyne species is hardly known and represents a real rarity.
