Limnophila hippuridoides is a striking stem plant from the Malayan peninsula, often confused with Limnophila aromatica, but it has more than three leaves per whorl. It features reddish to deep purple-toned submerged leaves and a light green stem, with shoots around 6–10 cm wide.
Ideal for mid- to background placement in larger tanks, it grows 20–50 cm tall and thrives with strong light, CO₂, and nutrient-rich conditions. Prefers soft to medium-hard water and temps between 22–27 °C. Propagated easily via cuttings, it's a fast grower and vibrant focal point.
